La Mujer Caballo Azul
- Fil·Loxera y Cía.
Wine made with grapes from a small plot, planted in 1972, located on the slopes of the Sierra de l'Ombria, with a very stony soil, sandy loam and cool, and other younger vineyards planted through a massal selection of the original estate. The vines are goblet-trained in the old vines and trellised in the young ones, cultivated with environmentally friendly methods and with little intervention in the soil, managing the native flora as an ally in the cultivation. The grapes are harvested by hand in 15 kg crates, with yields of 15-20 hl/Ha. Partial destemming and light crushing. Fermentation in a 750 litre vat, with wild yeasts, controlled temperature, with short and very gentle maceration. Aged for 8 months in used barrels. Bottled 23 July 2021, unfiltered and unclarified. Contains sulphite.
