Libre y Salvaje Garnacha is a single-varietal red wine crafted by hand in Almonacid de la Sierra, in the Cariñena region, from vines between 50 and 85 years old, grown using the bush-trained method and without irrigation, and produced using gravity flow in a century-old winery with an underground cellar. Hailing from the unique El Plano Alto terroir, with stony, nutrient-poor soils that force the roots to delve deep in search of water and minerals, this wine reinterprets that terroir in a fresh and refined way, relying on the use of the stems during fermentation to add length, layers, and complexity. In the glass, it is a medium-depth garnet red, with aromas of ripe red fruit accompanied by mineral and balsamic notes; it has a silky mouthfeel and sweet, well-integrated tannins, with a long, velvety finish. An authentic red wine, with a free-spirited character and wild nature, for those who appreciate wine made with soul and respect for the environment.
