Jancis Robinson, Master of Wine, and British glassware producer Richard Brendon, launch a new footed wine glass. the Precision glass joins the Jancis Robinson collection which now features two footed wine glasses, the Precision, machine-made, and the Original, hand-blown by master craftsmen and launched in 2018. The latter also available in our online store.
Jancis and Richard have named this new glass Precision to acknowledge the detailed nature of its manufacture. Each Precision wine glass is identical to the one before it, providing the consistency that can only be achieved by machine manufacturing
The Precision glass shares the same dimensions of the Original blown glass but has more weight and sturdiness, making it more suitable for intense serving environments, for everyday use, or for a party with lots of friends.
The concept is the same for both families of glasses: a universal glass that offers a fantastic tasting experience for every style of wine, whether white, red, sparkling, sweet or generous. This is the great advantage of Jancis Robinson glasses, a single glass for all wines, thus avoiding having glasses of different sizes and styles, and therefore the use of different glassware.
