Semi-humid Mediterranean climate, with rainfall concentrated in winter and an average annual rainfall of 700 mm. During the summer, winds from the east and west cause a large thermal oscillation with low temperatures at night. The soils are of alluvial origin, stratified, gently hilly, slightly undulating and loamy in texture, with a basic pH. Grapes harvested in April, destemmed and crushed, alcoholic fermentation begins at temperatures between 25 and 28 °C with open pumping over.
