Despite more than 18 months of ageing, it's a relatively young cava. An effort has been made to preserve the freshness and youth of the base wines with which it is made, using a touch of ageing that provides the yeast during time spent in the cellar. It shows a pale yellow colouring with a large amount of fine bubbles, a fruity bouquet and slight hints of yeast with a sweet background. Evidently sickly-sweet in mouth, but with a pleasant acidity providing a freshness, strength and consistency.
