LA VAL Treixadura
La Val Treixadura comes from vineyards in the Porto estate, with alluvial and pebble soils, cultivated on trellises. It is made by hand harvesting, soft pressing and spontaneous fermentation, followed by three months aging on fine lees. It is an aromatic wine, with floral and orchard notes, and presents a medium structure with sparkling freshness.
Characteristics of the vineyard
The grapes come from the Porto estate (4Ha and 13 years old), alluvial soil and boulders where the Miño river used to flow. Cultivated according to the traditional Galician vine training system, the vine training.
Winemaking characteristics
Manual harvest in 20 kg boxes.
Pressing of the whole grapes at low pressure, no more than 0.4 bar.
Spontaneous fermentation in small stainless steel tanks of 1,500 liters.
Aged for three months on its fine lees.
Harvest Details
The harvest is carried out on September 6. With a moderate alcohol content and high acidity, perfect for maintaining its Atlantic characteristics.
Tasting notes
Pale yellow with marked green flashes. Clean and bright.
Aromatic nose, marked by floral notes (mimosa, orange blossom, chamomile) and hints of orchard (hay, laurel, grapefruit, boxwood, nectarine).
Medium structure on the palate with pleasant sparkling freshness and remarkable fragrance
