Cune Semi
This semi-sweet wine is halfway between the young dry whites and the great traditional sweet wines of Rioja and Spain, retaining the freshness of the former and the smoothness and elegance of the latter.
Characteristics Winemaking
This wine is made when the weather allows for optimum ripening of the grapes. The grapes are harvested by hand and after pressing, the must ferments in American oak barrels. This fermentation process is stopped by natural means in order to obtain a wine with residual sugar, which gives it its particular complexity and unctuousness. The optimum moment for bottling is decided by tasting.
Tasting Notes
Pale straw color with slight greenish reminiscences. On the nose good balance between aromas of white fruit and those coming from the barrel such as dried fruits and smoked. Perfectly assembled in the mouth thanks to a silky, fresh entry, with a slight sweetness, caramel, honey and a long aftertaste with a certain balsamic finish. This wine pairs very well with appetizers, oriental cuisine, foie, goat cheeses, and desserts, due to its soft sweetness.
