Cune Fruity
Cune Blanco Afrutado is a Rioja wine made with Viura and Garnacha grapes from vineyards with clay loam soils. After a manual harvest, it is fermented in stainless steel tanks, maintaining residual sugar to preserve aromas of white flowers, apple, melon and stone fruit. It has a pale yellow color, high aromatic intensity and a sweet, smooth and fruity flavor.
Characteristics of the vineyard
White wine made from Viura and Garnacha grape varieties from vineyards in Rioja, from our usual suppliers. The soils are clay loam, facing south. All the work is done by hand, including the harvest.
Winemaking characteristics
When the grapes reach their optimum moment of over-ripeness, the grapes are harvested by hand and selected.
When the grapes reach the winery, they are gently pressed. The free-run juice is taken to stainless steel tanks, where it is statically racked, after which the alcoholic fermentation is carried out under strict temperature control.
To ensure that the wine has residual sugar, the fermentation process must always be stopped by physical procedures (racking, cooling and filtration).
Once the whole process is finished, the wine is ready for bottling and subsequent release to the market.
The objective of this process is the extraction and preservation of the primary aromas such as white flowers and apples typical of the Viura variety and other descriptors such as melon and stone fruit provided by the Garnacha Blanca.
