Cune Rosé
Cune Blanco Rosado is a wine made with Tempranillo grapes from vineyards in Rioja Alta, with clay loam soils and ages from 8 to 20 years. The harvest is manual and early, with controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruity aromas. It has a strawberry red color, high aromatic intensity of red licorice, strawberries and raspberries, and a smooth, fresh taste.

Characteristics of the vineyard
The wine comes from our own goblet-trained and trellised vineyards in the Rioja Alta area, mainly from the Cerecillo and Ascarza estates in Sajazarra, on fresh soils with a clay loam texture and an east-west orientation. The vines vary in age from eight to 20 years and are planted on medium vigorous soils.
Winemaking characteristics
Early manual harvest of Tempranillo grapes. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks and cooled to avoid fermentation at 10-12ºC. After obtaining the desired color in the must, it is bled and fermentation begins without skins or pips, at a controlled temperature of between 16 and 18ºC to preserve its aromas and the fruity intensity that gives personality to this wine.
Harvest data
The 2024 vintage was marked by the heat in March, which caused an early bud break of about ten days. This month was followed by May and April with low temperatures and rain, which caused a vegetative standstill and delayed veraison by 10 to 15 days depending on the area.
It was a short harvest (the shortest since 2020) due to the low fertility of the buds, with irregular fruit set due to the cold and lack of sunshine, in addition to the scarce rainfall during flowering.
Despite these complications, plant health was good throughout the season. Due to the forecast of instability, the harvest was accelerated, but the low yields have offered a very good quality grape. Harvesting began on September 17 and ended on October 9.
Tasting notes
Bright strawberry red color, with good aromatic intensity that reveals sweet sensations and aromas of red fruits, jelly beans and red licorice. It is a lively wine in the mouth, balanced and fresh, with persistence and an unctuous sensation, which makes it an ideal rosé to combine with rice dishes, seafood, appetizers and oriental-inspired recipes.
Recommended serving temperature 8-10ºC.
