Bela Rosé is made with Tempranillo grapes from own vineyards over 25 years old in Villalba de Duero, located in the coolest area of the estate, at an altitude of over 820 meters. The winemaking process includes a 4-hour cold maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 15 days at 14ºC. The 2023 vintage, marked by drought and high temperatures, produced a bright cherry pink wine, floral and balsamic on the nose, with good acidity and a long aftertaste.

Characteristics of the vineyard
Own Tempranillo vineyards over 25 years old located above 820 m of altitude in Villalba de Duero, but those located in the coolest area of the estate.
Our Villalba vineyard is marked by its gentle and undulating orography.
The soil has two distinct parts: on the one hand, sandy loam textures, rich in sand-sized particles, well distributed between coarse and fine, which characterize these soils as well aerated and draining. The other part has a clay-loam texture, both with an average depth of around one meter, poor in organic matter and with an average level of carbonates.
Winemaking characteristics
The grapes used to make this wine were the first to enter the winery to preserve the fruit and freshness.
The winemaking process is by bleeding, after a 4-hour cold maceration of the must with the skins to obtain the desired color.
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 15 days at 14ºC with selected yeasts.
Harvest data
The 2023 harvest was marked by drought and high temperatures during the vegetative cycle, which meant that the harvest began on September 20 and ended on October 12.
Despite the high temperatures, it rained enough at the beginning of September to ensure that the grapes ripened very regularly and the alcohol levels were contained, as well as good average acidity and balanced structure.
Tasting notes
Bright cherry pink color with a violet rim, of medium intensity.
The nose is clean and intense, floral and balsamic. Aromas of red fruits such as cherry and balsamic and scrubland.
In the mouth it is a tasty, round wine, with good acidity and a long aftertaste. Recommended serving temperature 7-9ºC.
