Vintage Case Viña Real Reserva + Gran Reserva
Exclusive vintage design box with two bottles: Viña Real Gran Reserva + Viña Real Reserva.
In 1920 the first "Viña Real" wines were launched on the market, clearly combining the personality, character and elegance of Rioja Alavesa with the roundness and balance of perfect ageing.
Viña Real Gran Reserva
The wine is aged in new and single-use French and American oak barrels for an average of 24 months, subject to manual racking approximately every 4 months in the first year, with racking being spaced out in the second year. Before bottling, the wine is clarified to obtain greater clarity, silkiness and brightness. The wine in bottle acquires the necessary roundness for a minimum of 3 years. It will reach its fullness many years later.
Viña Real Reserve
Aging is carried out in new and second use barrels (70% French and 30% American) where it remains for an average of 22 months. Once in bottle, the wine ages in the cellars of Viña Real for at least a year and a half before being released to the market, acquiring roundness and complexity.
