Camino del Bosque Tinto is Libre y Salvaje’s village wine, a red wine born in Almonacid de la Sierra with the aim of showcasing the winemaking identity of this historic Aragonese town through the synergy of two native grape varieties: a ripe, well-structured Garnacha, combined with the liveliness and freshness of Cariñena. After a hand-harvest with in-field selection, each variety ferments separately with its own wild yeasts—the Garnacha in stainless steel, the Cariñena in concrete and French oak vats—preserving the personality of each before being blended for aging. The result is a red wine with a terroir-driven, wild profile, featuring notes of black fruit, spices, and a mineral character that faithfully reflects the vineyards of the Sierra de Algairén. A wine with deep roots and a free spirit, meant to be shared and enjoyed in good company.
