Nikweis Mosel Dry
Riesling grapes from vineyards between 40 and 70 years old, which are located near the winery, in the central part of the Mosel river valley. These vineyards are located on gently sloping hillsides, formed by gravel and sand. These conditions allow the production of dry and very varietal wines, slightly different from the typical pattern, which are sharper and sweeter than the wines of the region.
Fermented in steel tanks with wild yeasts, it does not undergo any type of aging in wood. The end result is refined, reflecting a naked Riesling style, without the overweight of wood, allowing the intense varietal and mineral characters to shine through. Excellent aperitif wine, although it also appreciates low-fat dishes, white fish or white meats.
