La Val Sousón

Sousón monovarietal, a variety historically cultivated in Condado do Tea area, under the name of Retinto. It is a long-cycled variety, small bunch and medium-low productivity. It has potential to be one of the greatest grapes in Galicia. Wines produced with Sousón are very aromatic, deep coloured and fresh.

Intense red colour, almost dark, with violet rims. It shows high aromatic intensity, prevailing wild red berry fruits as blackberries, floral hints, toasted aromas, Indian ink, Athlantic herbs, laurel and an elegant minerality. In the mouth it is a wine full of freshness and fruitiness, with mineral and saline sensations, very Atlantic.
