J. Charpentier Extra Brut Pierre Henri
The name "Pierre Henri" is a combination of the names of our two ancestors who started growing wine at the beginning of the 20th century. This extraordinary champagne is made with grapes from the Reuil and Châtillon sur Marne crus. First alcoholic fermentation only in new oak barrels with 5-6 wines, without malolactic fermentation, with lees stirring, and subsequent barrel aging for 10 months.
The maturation is the result of the blending of different vintages obtained and subsequent bottle aging. Selection of old vines over 50 years old, located only in vines recognized as exceptional: Pinot Meunier. Pale yellow with old gold tones due to its evolution, intense and complex nose dominated by floral and fruity notes (peach), fresh and fruity in the mouth with a long finish.
A Champagne for exceptional meals. It will ideally accompany seafood or a very fresh truffle.
