Pagos de Viña Real was born from the search for perfection in tempranillo from vineyards in Rioja Alavesa. In the last 3 years, we focused on making a specific wine that seeks to express the essence of a small plot called La Virgen, located in San Cristóbal, near Labastida. We kept part of the name, and now this wine is called La Virgen AKA (Also Known As) Pagos de Viña Real. Deep garnet color with violet hues. The nose is very intense with a wide range of aromas. The entry on the palate is smooth with a tannin that balances perfectly with the smoothness of the wine along with a touch of acidity that gives it freshness and length.
